Eating Too Many Sweets is Dangerous

This time of year is a whole lot of fun for a lot of people.  The cooler weather and the holidays tend to bring the world and families together a whole lot more than any other time of the year.  This year will undoubtedly be different from COVID-19 and the pandemic raging.  Some cities and states have declared martial law and are closing down things that may end up being a bit dangerous.  But for most of the country people are still going to be getting together and enjoying their favorite holiday treats and sweets.  This is also the one time of year where people tend to eat too many different types of candy boxes and gain a little too much weight.  So I just wanted to go over a few things to maybe help keep us all a little safer this year and help us not find ourselves in some kind of emergency situation this holiday season.

The one thing we all love this time of year is enjoying each other's company.  This usually means family gatherings are happening all the time.  It can also mean that friends are getting together more and also that the place you work will be throwing holiday parties.  IN my family that means at least two parties from work.  So with all of these gatherings, most people tend to eat and drink a lot more than they normally would.  And this time of year the seasonal foods and drinks are sweeter and usually have more alcohol content in them.  This means that we need to be careful to not eat and drink too much.  All those extra empty and eaten candy boxes can be a real problem for your health.

I know for myself if I eat too much I will end up spending months in the gym trying to lose the weight and it will sometimes lead to me injuring myself.  So taking it easy on all the treats during this time of year can be a huge help to your health from a weighted point of view and also from another health area as well.

Lots of people neglect to think that their teeth are a big part of their overall health.  The more sweets and treats you consume without taking care of your teeth may lead to some major issues in teh long run.  I think that cavities are expensive and painful and if not taken care of fast enough lead to those nasty root canals.  The worst part is also the way it makes you look.  Most of the time your teeth turn yellow and brownish with all the damage being done. This is really a bad thing not only for your own confidence but also can lead to some major career issues as well.

This year much of business is being done on zoom calls and google video calls.  That means that most people are looking directly at your face and guess what your smile constantly.  If you have a bad smile and it is really not pleasant to look at many people will actually not want to work with you or hire you due to the way you look.  Especially in 2020 your online presence really matters and that portion can have a huge impact on your life.
